My apologies for not updating sooner but I had to get things in places before tapping away at the keyboard.

After getting MLA school records I read through them and found several remarks that if had not been squashed by his paediatrician could have meant a malicious reporting to the Child Protection Team. One remark was about MLA being under nourished.  Which is total rubbish and those that know MLA will know this. Anyway I went to see my solicitor regarding the remarks that had no notes with them to say that the incidents were unfounded, in fact they were written in such away that it could be construed as the professionals all agreed with the findings of the medically unqualified teachers!

My solicitor has written to the LEA to get the points clarified and notes be made to the effect that there was no evidence of this OR show the proof!

I also went along to MLA’s doctor today to see just how far these ‘accusations’ had gone.  The doctor confirmed she knew nothing of them and was shocked they had been written and before being discussed with me.  They were never discussed with me. She was also disappointed that the Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) assessment had indicated an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) a year ago but she had chosen not to share the findings with me OR MLA’s doctors.  Had this been done MLA could have received support, and me for that matter, last year and all parties could have been working toward a full diagnoses.  No instead I was talking to his doctors asking if they felt it was and ASD and them saying well he shows all the symptoms but the experts are telling us otherwise.  Thus we were running round in ever INCREASING circles all for the want of the SLT sharing her initial suspicions!

I am not happy about the schools and teachers actions in this matter.  I believe them to be underhanded and malicious!

I am now in the process of getting BB’s notes and if there is anything on there watch out because I will be going in with hob nailed boots!
