A couple of Weeks ago BB came home with a note for parent contact evenings and making an appointment.  I had a think about and decided several things;

a) I have no wish to discuss any of my children with this particular teacher, who is failing to teach BB effectively

b) I will hear nothing I don’t know already

c) There is no point as this summer BB goes to High School so what ever I hear will not be changed and nothing will be done to help BB at school.

So all in all I decided the exercise is fruitless, and not to go.  Yesterday BB presents me with a slip saying I have an appointment for Thursday at 7.40pm.  Aside from the fact I did not request an appointment, nor want one, that time of night is far too late.  No the appointment was the last on the books so that I would be alone in the school and the Head Teacher and teacher can gang up as they usual and to try and intimidate me.  Well too bad as the slip is going back.  Written on it in large letters is CANCELLED!

The Head Teacher is not my boss and I will not be dictated to.
