I opened the mail this morning and there was another letter from my MSP, John Swinney. I read the contents and the accompanying LEA letter and said

‘WHAT!’

‘erm, nope’

and

‘they, didn’t!’

Yep another letter full of fabrication.

This one states that I have ‘met’ with an officer…erm nope not unless they were invisible!

ON this point the LEA have tripped themselves up as the first letter states I am in dialogue with them and second says I met them.

I was offered support and guidance, er well if you can call ‘if there is anything I can help you with’ support and guidance then yes., and a recommendation for re-referral to speech and language therapy,  does the words ‘er, well you will have to go and see your GP for that’ count as a recommendation?  Not in my book, especially after I ASKED for it to be recommenced.

Then to the final fabrication, I was notified of the outcome of an Additional Support Panel meeting, nope I haven’t.  I just got a bog standard letter saying Home Ed was confirmed as having been consented to, no mention of Support, Additional Support Panels or recommendation and guidance.

So I will be sending another letter to my MSP pointing out the further wool pulling over eyes the LEA are attempting to do to make me go away.  I also suspect that a lot of this fabrication stems from the school trying to cover it’s back…badly!

and they wonder why us parents with special needs children miss-trust the LEA and schools!
